Unbelievable - my second journal entry this year!

Sorry for the delay in uploads so far - still have tons of pictures, but I am in the middle of a move right now and also writing my finals and have to work part time. Not so easy to deal with everything at the same time - I hope that everything will calm down in about a month. I will be in my new appartment then, finals will be over and I hope to have some time to myself left.

Two weeks ago I was looking through DA and found some stunning art I really want to share with you people! Go and check out some other of their photographs, their galleries rock, you should probably follow these guys, too!

 
   
 
 

My other journal entry was getting quite old, so I thought it might be the right time for the "annual" new one.

What happend? A lot has changed since the last journal entry (it was 3 years old... ugh). I am not in Colorado anymore, but have settled down in Germany again. I am going to University and am studying "Applied Cognitive and Media Science" - meaning that I have moved from Denver back to my parents house, then moved to the city I am studying in, and now I am moving again to my very own appartment next month! :3 Time's flying soo fast. I am really busy with College, it's harder than I've expected it to be... but it's fun, too. I've found some great new friends, and this is just another awesome adventure of my life!

I hope to get back to post some more pictures for you guys. I love taking them, but not just for me, I really want to share the love. I changed my style quite a bit since the last time I posted pictures, and my plan was to rework the old uploads, add a new signature and get rid of the white frame I thought looks awesome three years ago. But I don't know yet, if I find the time to do so, I might spend this precious little free time I have uploading new photographs you didn't know yet. We'll see what the future brings. But I really hope I don't fuck up big times, like the last time I tried to be an active member of the community again. Cheers!

Hey there!

I didn't really had a lot of time and motivation to edit and upload all the wolf park pictures I took - but since I am sitting home, being tired, sick and not feeling so well, I thought I could use the time and do something useful. Like finally uploading the pictures I promised. Ah... good memories. I wish I could visit Wolf Park again. It was breathtaking.

So... nothing really new to say. Haha.

Colorado is supposed to drown in snow again... even though it was nice today. But pretty windy. Yeah - that's Colorado. I hope the snow won't last long, I am so done with winter. I want sun and summer.

Enjoy some wolves!

Yeah, in the following days and weeks I want to upload all the nice pictures I was able to take during my photo seminar at Wolf Park in Battle Ground, Indiana. I was able to go into the enclosure with the wolves, could pet and touch and cuddle them. They gave me a lot of wet and slobbery wolf kisses and I have to admit that I really loved that! Monty Sloan is one of the people that really inspire me, and meeting him in person was one of my lifetime wishes coming true. Visit the site! www.wolfpark.org

I was able to take pictures of Ruedi, Wotan, Dharma, Fiona, Bicho & Kanti. Lovely and beautiful wolves. I really feel in love with Fiona, who couldn't stop giving me kisses and was super interested in me. If I could I would have taken them all home. If you are planning to do a photo seminar with Monty Sloan... DO IT. It is really worth it. I enjoyed it so much, even though it was terribly cold and cloudy. The people working there are nice and respectful. Share the love and support Wolf Park!

After some months I finally managed to clean up my account, kicked out all the old pictures and started all over again. I was not very satisfied with the stuff I had uploaded, but this has changed now! I really try to get better with my photography and editing skills, so I hope this new start will help me. I am motivated... funny, that a snowstorm was the trigger. So, I want to be criticized! Please tell me what you like, but also what you dislike about my photography.

Yeah, that's it for now - I will upload a bunch of pictures in the next couple of days. There are a lot of wolves coming, be prepared.
